After getting our tree home and Jay stringing the lights, it was time to put the star on top of tree. Each year Tyler and Raine alternate putting on the star. This year was Tyler's turn, and sadly he's now almost too big for Jay to reasonably lift up. Last year Raine had to stand on a chair. I have pictures of them from the time they were just big enough to hold the star. It's bittersweet to see how much they've grown, and to look back on all the happy memories over the years.
