Ferrin's Forum: Murph's Fun Run

Murph's Fun Run is a charity event in Tewksbury that is based off of The Amazing Race. My friend Joanie's son, Robbie, needed a partner, and Raine was more than up for the challenge. The race consists of running a course of approximately six miles with stops in between at various local businesses to complete challenges. There are many teams of all ages. Each team comes up with a team name and designs their costumes. Raine and Robbie were team "Dumb and Dumber". I scanned in their report cards and photoshopped them to have all F's, made up silly teacher comments, and then ironed them onto their T-shirts. On the backs of their T-shirts they glued Math flash cards that had the wrong answers, and they wore silly caps. For added fun, they had silly string. They started off the race with good time, and in their grouping they finished somewhere in the middle with a time of 2 hours, 2 minutes and 2 seconds. They had a great time, and I'm sure they will do it again next year.
