Tyler's school organizes a social event over the winter break, and this year the PAC chose bowling at a ten-pin lane. It's been years since we've done this as we usually go duck-pin bowling. My friend Kim and her two children bowled in the lane next to us.
The first game I won with a respectable score of 129. Kim scored even better. Needless to say this did not sit well with Jay, and a little friendly competitive trash-talking began. Neither Kim or I broke 100 on our last game, because unlike Wii bowling, these balls are heavy so our arms gave out. Jay, on the other hand, bowled four strikes in a row (nearly bowled five in a row), and just as he was about to roll his last ball to total his score for the game, the alley shut off our lanes. You can just imagine how upset Jay was!! He ended up bowling 179 PLUS (and he won't let you forget this part) whatever he would've scored on the last ball. Kim says it's a good thing he won so I can live with him for the rest of the vacation.
All-in-all, a great time was had by all, and we thank the PAC social committee for organizing this event! Let's do it again next year!
