Easter Pancakes

Wednesday, April 15, 2009

The last of our Easter traditions is making and decorating Easter pancakes.   It started one year when I was looking through a Williams Sonoma catalog, and they had these large copper cookie molds that they were selling (for $10 each) and using to pour pancake batter into.  So I went to Walmart and for $2 bought a large copper egg mold and a tulip mold (I've since added a bunny mold).  I took this idea one step further and bought colored cake gels so we could decorate our pancakes.  Some years we are more creative than others...

Not hard to guess, this one is Jay's--show off!!

Okay, mine is lame, but I was hungry!
